Needles: US #7/4.5mm 24-inch or 32-inch circular needle OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
The piece is worked back and forth in rows, using a long circular needle to accommodate the large number of sts. You may wish to use interchangeable needle tips and successively longer cords as the piece grows.
Notions: Tapestry needle, locking stitch markers (optional)
Gauge: 18 sts/36 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking
Note: If your gauge differs from the pattern gauge, the dimensions of your finished piece may be different as well. If you knit at a looser gauge, you may need more yarn.
