Erste is a seamless cowl that pairs columns of cables with a wide lace pattern that looks like cables—but isn’t. This cowl is knit in the round with sportweight yarn on a circular needle (no grafting or seaming required).
A solid-color yarn with good stitch definition but soft fiber content is recommended for a luxurious and warm cowl. DK weight yarn can be substituted, but swatch to determine best needle size—aim for a gauge of 5.5 sts to the inch in stockinette stitch.
Finished (blocked) measurements: 32.5 inches/83 cm circumference by 8 inches/20 cm deep
