Named after a variety of blueberries, Bluetta combines easy garter stitch and a scalloped lace edging in a reversible design. Worked from one end to the other, it has a gently tapered crescent shape.
The pattern provides step-by-step instructions in written form and in a chart. A schematic helps you to visualize the progression of the knitting, the increase and decrease sections, and the piece’s overall shape. Any single or plied fingering weight yarn can be used. For the sample, I used handspun Rambouillet fingering weight singles.
Sizes: There are two sizes — a scarf and a shawlette — as well as tips for shortening or lengthening the piece.
Measurements: 61 (68) inches/155 (173) cm along top edge

—475 (550) yds/435 (505) m fingering weight yarn. Sample was knit with fingering weight singles handspun with Three Waters Farm Rambouillet in the Blue Flourish colorway.
